WILD ACRES MUSTANGS

What we do!

Here at Wild Acres Mustangs we work with once wild Mustangs that have been rounded up and placed into holding facilities. We have a TIP trainer on site that helps to give each Mustang the opportunity and tools needed to become someones next best friend.
We work hand in hand with the Mustang Heritage Foundation and the Bureau of Land Management to help place as many Mustangs in to great forever homes as possible.

How you can help!

The best way you can help is to spread awareness of how many wild horses and burros are in holding facilities across the country. As of right now there are more then 50,000 sitting in holding waiting for someone to give them a great home.

The next best thing you can do is adopt, we have many Mustangs looking to make it to a safe loving environment out of holding and into your home. We can help you with that process if that is something you are wanting to do.

If you would like to help but are unable to adopt we are always looking for some extra support for our wild ones. You can donate directly to our wild ones and help out some of them.

THE ADOPTION PROCESS

The adoption process is pretty simple.

1) You have to fill out an application and submit it to the BLM for approval. We work directly with a local representative and it would need to be emailed to dwood@blm.gov for approval. Once approved you are able to adopt or purchase one of our Mustangs.

Here is the link for the adoption application:

https://www.blm.gov/sites/blm.gov/files/4710-010.pdf

2) Once you are approved for adoption or purchase you would need to make payment to the BLM. Each Mustang's adoption or purchase fee is the same for all that are in the TIP program, $125.

3) If you would like to read over the requirements for your specific state you can go directly to the BLM website at:

If you have any more questions or need help with your application please reach out to us and we can assist you.
